Die Berliner Servtag GmbH entwickelt objekt- und ortsbasierte mobile Services, u.a. mit NFC, QR-Codes und text messaging. Eine zentrale Lösung des Startups ist die kostenlose urban mobile Community Friendticker, die inzwischen als GPS basierte iPhone App im App Store verfügbar ist. Basierend auf der Friendticker-Technologie will sich Servtag zukünftig auch mit einem Web Service für Unternehmen in der B2B-Ecke positionieren.

Geschäftsführer Florian Resatsch: „Wir glauben, dass die Technik soweit steht und wir das System entsprechend verfeinern können. Mit dem Ausbau von Friendticker bleiben wir den Konsumenten allerdings weiterhin treu. Den nächsten Relaunch gibt’s Anfang Dezember.“

Was die Entwicklung des NFC-Marktes betrifft, ist Florian vorsichtig: „Wir können nur hoffen, dass es möglichst bald ein paar neue Geräte am Markt gibt und NFC weiterhin anbieten - etwa mit dem B2B-Service Mobile Healthcare.

Berlin-based startup Servtag stands for Near Field Communication: Physical objects and locations are linked with online data and information. The object- and location-based service provider recently did a hyper-localization test in Berlin using location stickers with RFID chips and QR-Codes. Managing Director Florian Resatsch: „We got lots of positive feedback from location owners - user activity at a location can be seen as a virtual currency for the location.
